SS 304 Milk Measures
Krishna Defence & Allied Industries Limited is listed as KRISHNADEF under NSE. We are among India’s very few manufacturing houses with 25 Years of experience, ISO Certification and comprehensive in-house capabilities of designing, developing, and manufacturing a wide range of equipment for Dairy Equipment.
We are relentlessly serving Dairy Industry and launching products to encourage Hygienic Milk Collection, Storage & Testing. We manufacture, supply and export Milk Collection, Storage & Testing Equipment.
We were the pioneers in manufacturing Stainless Steel Milk Cans in India. These Milk Cans are used for collection and delivery of milk from milk producers to dairy co-operative societies (DCS), transportation of milk from milk collection centres to Dairy Plants and for handling milk in the Dairy plants.
Manufacturing:
Our SS 304 Milk Measures helps in proper weighing of the milk. Due to the usage of globally accepted food grade material of construction, they also aid in maintaining the hygiene, quality and safety of milk.
Our standard set of milk measures are suitable for use at the Milk Collection Centre for measuring milk received from the producers. The measuring set consists of 1 no. each – 2L, 1L, 0.5L and 0.25L capacity measures. The measures are manufactured out of Stainless Steel, conforming to AISI 304 grade. The measures manufactured with the help of pressing and manual welding. All the measures meet the requirement of Weights & Measures Department for dimension, sheet thickness, capacity, marking of capacity, stamping (optional), etc. All inside as well as outside finishes are min. 150 grit finish.
Technical Specifications:
| Capacity | Diameter (mm) | Height (mm) | Wall Thickness (mm) |
| 2L | 120-125 ± 5 | 180-185 ± 5 | 0.5-0.7 ± 5 |
| 1L | 95-100 ± 5 | 140-145 ± 5 | 0.5-0.7 ± 5 |
| 0.5L | 75-85 ± 5 | 110-115 ± 5 | 0.5-0.7 ± 5 |
| 0.25L | 55-60 ± 5 | 105-110 ± 5 | 0.5-0.7 ± 5 |
Note: For all export orders, stamping of the measures by the Weights & Measures Authority is respective purchaser’s scope pertaining to local guidelines.

Milking used to be a manual task but with increasing herd size, manually milking huge number of cattle is time consuming and inefficient. Milking parlors are designed for optimal cattle and farmer comfort.
As the name suggests, cows stand parallel to each other in this design. So, if the cows are standing side to side, that only leaves one access point for the milker to reach the udder: the rear end! In parallel parlors, milking doesn’t begin until all cows are in their stalls, and they are all released from the parlor at one time. Milking only takes about 10 minutes.
Features:
• Ensures milking more cows in a shorter milking time
• Robust design
• Stress-free animal positioning
• Faster exit option for animals

Milking used to be a manual task but with increasing herd size, manually milking huge number of cattle is time consuming and inefficient. Milking parlors are designed for optimal cattle and farmer comfort.
Herringbone parlors are the most common design used on dairy farms with smaller herds. The cattle stand at a 45-degree angle. This design offers the milker a better access option to the udder than the parallel or tandem designs, and also allows access for different types of equipment to be used.
Features:
• Robust design
• Better udder presentation and easy animal handling for operators
• Faster animal positioning and smooth traffic ensures stress-free milking
• Max space efficiency

Milking machines were designed to minimize human contact with milk which helps in maintaining hygiene during milking and produces with a lower bacterial count. Added benefit of milking machine is saving of cost and time effectively and having maximum output to improve economic benefits for dairy farmers.
Fixed type milking machine are good for larger dairy farmers who want to save time and cost while improving the farm hygiene as well. Power pack is installed in one area of the farm while vacuum travels in the farm with the help of a vacuum line set up across the farm. Depending on the farm size, dairy farmer can choose single bucket, double bucket or four bucket milking machines.
Features:
• Reduction of dependency on skilled farm workers
• Easy operation
• Reliable and durable motor, vacuum pump and assembly
• Very low maintenance cost
