Milking used to be a manual task, but manually milking a large number of cattle with increasing herd size is time-consuming and inefficient. Milking parlors are designed for optimal cattle and farmer comfort.
As the name suggests, cows stand parallel to each other in this design. So, if the cows are standing side to side, that only leaves one access point for the milker to reach the udder: the rear end! In parallel parlors, milking doesn’t begin until all cows are in their stalls, and they are all released from the parlor at one time. Milking only takes about 10 minutes.
Features:
• Ensures milking more cows in a shorter milking time
• Robust design
• Stress-free animal positioning
• Faster exit option for animals
With the direct expansion technique, the milk is cooled by direct contact with the evaporator. Because of the free evaporation and proper mixing of the milk, the heat exchange is optimal, a high cooling capacity is guaranteed and freezing is prevented, for any amount of milk ranging from 300 to 10000 Ltrs. In Dx type BMC, we have 3 types of Bulk Milk Coolers:
Open Vertical Tank (350, 500, 1000)
Open Horizontal Tank (1000, 2000)
Closed Cylindrical Tank (2000, 3000, 5000)
Features:
• Energy efficient condensing unit gives fast cooling while saving energy
• East to install, easy to operate and easy to maintain
• Multiple cooling circuits for efficient cooling
• Advance microprocessor-controlled system for optimised cooling efficiency
• Advanced and user-friendly electronic control system and digital indicators
Milk meter is a relatively accurate, compact, full-flow milk meter designed for individual cattle milk production recording. It measures only the milk collected and ignores the amount of air trapped in the milk volume. It helps in identifying cattle with their yield and their performance which results in more efficient farm management practice and rationing for cattle.
Features:
• Available in digital and analogue variant
• Gives accurate measurement of milk yield
• Allow individual monitoring of cattle
Milking used to be a manual task but with increasing herd size, manually milking huge number of cattle is time consuming and inefficient. Milking parlors are designed for optimal cattle and farmer comfort.
Herringbone parlors are the most common design used on dairy farms with smaller herds. The cattle stand at a 45-degree angle. This design offers the milker a better access option to the udder than the parallel or tandem designs, and also allows access for different types of equipment to be used.
Features:
• Robust design
• Better udder presentation and easy animal handling for operators
• Faster animal positioning and smooth traffic ensures stress-free milking
• Max space efficiency
